At the heart of this YZ250X is a 249cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 2-stroke that keeps things simple, sharp, and exciting. It runs gas/oil premix and breathes through a Keihin 38mm carburetor, giving you that crisp, connected feel that riders love when threading tight singletrack or charging through open sections. A reed valve setup and a kick starter keep the experience old-school in the best way—direct, mechanical, and all about the rider.

Power goes through a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive, then back to the rear wheel via a chain drive—perfect for off-road riding where you want control over every ounce of momentum.
