The KLX®300SM ultimate lightweight supermoto motorcycle is powered by a 292cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. Experience a rewarding spread of power across the rev range. Smooth power delivery and crisp throttle response helps riders of all skill levels maneuver through stop-and-go city traffic, navigate country back roads, or experience the exhilaration of supermoto racing at their local track. Electric start offers easy starting; fuel injection helps with reliable starting in a wide range of conditions and contributes to excellent fuel economy.

The KLX®300SM motorcycle is built with a slim, lightweight perimeter frame that’s maneuverable but rigid at higher speeds to help with straight-line stability. The smaller front wheel, the caster angle (25°), and short wheelbase contribute to quick handling. Suspension performance offers 9.1-in of travel up front and 8.1-in in the rear, ideal for supermoto riding. The 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork has adjustable compression damping to optimize suspension performance.

An upright and relaxed riding position makes it comfortable to ride the KLX®300SM motorcycle. Rider-friendly ergonomics are complemented by a thick-padded seat, rubber dampened footpegs, and a 33.9-in seat height that allows riders to comfortably reach the ground at stops which increases confidence. The innovative radiator fan directs hot air down and away from the rider and from high touch areas for added comfort in traffic. The shroud design allows smooth transitions when shifting, enabling riders to feel more at one with their machine when cornering.

The KLX®300SM supermoto features KX™ motocross-inspired styling for a fresh, sporty look. Streamlined bodywork creates a sharp design that flows from the compact headlamp to the condensed tail, hinting at the versatile performance that riders can expect from this agile street fighter. The compact LED headlight in a slim, sharp front cowl offers remarkable brightness and style. The two-tone seat contributes to a dynamic, sporty look similar to Kawasaki’s KX motocross machines. From the cockpit, all-digital instrumentation is on display, including a digital speedometer, bar-type tachometer, clock, odometer, dual trip meters, and a range of warning/indicator lamps.
