?? 955cc Superquadro Performance
The centerpiece of the 2022 Streetfighter V2 is Ducati's 955cc Superquadro V-twin, the same fundamental engine architecture used in the Panigale V2.
It produces a claimed 153 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 74.8 lb-ft of torque at 9,000 rpm. Ducati also gave the Streetfighter V2 a shorter final-drive ratio than the Panigale V2—15/45 versus 15/43—to increase torque at the rear wheel at road speeds and sharpen response when getting back on the throttle. Ducati Media House
That means this isn't simply a detuned naked bike. Ducati engineered it to deliver strong, immediate acceleration where riders can actually use it on the street while retaining serious track capability.
? Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2
The six-speed gearbox is paired with Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2, allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
Combine that with the slipper clutch, Ride-by-Wire throttle and sophisticated engine management, and the Streetfighter V2 provides the fast, precise shifting experience expected from a modern Ducati performance motorcycle. Ducati
?? Six-Axis IMU Electronics
The Streetfighter V2's electronics package was inherited from the Panigale V2 and centers around a six-axis inertial measurement unit that continuously monitors the motorcycle's position and movement. Ducati
The system supports Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2 and Engine Brake Control EVO. Riders can select among Sport, Road and Wet Riding Modes, each providing dedicated electronic-control settings. Ducati
For a 2022 motorcycle, that's an impressive collection of rider-assistance technology.
?? Panigale DNA, Streetfighter Ergonomics
Ducati essentially applied its famous “Fight Formula” to the Panigale V2: remove the fairings, fit a high and wide aluminum handlebar, and adjust the ergonomics for greater everyday usability. Ducati Media House
Ducati gave the Streetfighter a wider, better-padded saddle and repositioned the footpegs to create more room for the rider. The result maintains an aggressive riding position while being less committed than the Panigale V2. Ducati Media House
?? Performance Chassis
The Superquadro engine functions as a structural component of the motorcycle, connecting to a compact die-cast aluminum monocoque frame. Ducati also gave the Streetfighter V2 a single-sided swingarm that's 16mm longer than the Panigale V2's to enhance stability. Ducati Media House
That combination gives the Streetfighter its signature Ducati appearance while keeping the chassis compact and performance focused.
?? Unmistakable Streetfighter Styling
The 2022 Streetfighter V2 carries the aggressive design language of its larger Streetfighter V4 sibling, including the distinctive front headlight and V-shaped daytime running light.
Ducati even says the expression of the headlight was inspired by the “grin of the Joker.” Ducati Media House
A 4.3-inch full-TFT instrument display, full LED headlight and DRL complete the modern cockpit and lighting package. Ducati
?? Why You'll Love It
The 2022 Ducati Streetfighter V2 occupies a sweet spot between an everyday naked motorcycle and a full-blown Italian superbike.
You get the character of Ducati's 955cc Superquadro V-twin, a claimed 153 horsepower, sophisticated IMU-controlled electronics, quickshifter, premium chassis components and unmistakable Ducati styling—but with upright handlebars and ergonomics that make the performance easier to enjoy away from the racetrack. Ducati Media House
For riders who want Panigale DNA without Panigale bodywork, the Streetfighter V2 delivers exactly what its name promises.
153 HP. 955cc Superquadro power. Six-axis electronics. Italian superbike DNA with the fairings ripped off. The 2022 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is equal parts beauty and beast. ????????
