Very nice Forty Eight Sportster with the 1200cc motor, quick and just stunning looking. The bike had a few upgrades and the tank was custom painted in dark cherry candy color. The bike runs great and needs really nothing. Equipped with a Saddlemen seat ($400) and some custom bars, LED lights. Tires are good. This is an excellent bike for someone who really wants to go out and have fun. This is the least expensive 48 out there !

The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.
