This bike was built to ride, but I got carried away in the build process and now it is a Show Bike that is a rider. This bike started of as a 883, plain Jane with buck horn bars, no chrome at all and those ugly mag wheels. Since then I have replaced just about everything on it or somehow modified it from the stock appearance. So here goes the list of replaced parts: every thing on the motor has been chromed i.e. rocker box's, pushrod tubes, primary cover, cam cover, front sprocket cover. the motor was also painted black wrinkle finish and I machine polished the fins on the heads and barrels: Next would be the sheet metal, every thing has been replaced there too, Sport Bob Front and Rear fender(with a LED Cat Eye Tail Light and clear Lens) and a Stretched Gas Tank with a Hot Match Pop Up gas cap (the cap was a custom install, you couldn't get this tank with one when I built this bike) I got about $3000 in the paint and body work, it starts with a blue/purple marbled base that looks like it has tears in it with candy orange flames coming through: I put Kury Aykn grips, and a Kury Aykn forward control conversion kit. It also has Chrome lower legs. swing arm, and chain guard: As for the suspension there is white brothers lowering springs up front, and 12 inch Chrome Koni Shocks out back: The handle bars have been replaced with a set od 6 inch rise 1 1/4 T-Bars, with a set of Pro-One Micro Mini Gauges (speedo and Tach): All of the cables and brake lines are Stainless Steel Braided, and the switch box's replaced with chrome ones: It has new Bassani Pro Street Slash Cut Stepped Tuned Pipes (they sound really good, no B.S.) I also replaced the Wheels with a matching set of Polished Aluminum Sturgis Wheels, 19inch in the front and 16inch in the back with Dunlop D401 Rubber. NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF...... THE MOTOR When I bought the bike from my Father it already had a 1200 conversion done to it, but it needed the valve guides replaced, So when I did this I sent the heads and jugs to Hemi Designs to in Cicero IL. They built a sportster motor that puts 90Hp's to the ground. I wanted that, so I copied them part for part to achieve the same HP and Torque number's, and man does this thing fly. It is almost scarry how fast it is and how hard it pulls. It stops building horse power at 6800 Rpm and that is were the rev limiter is set. I have never hit the limiter because pulls so hard I have to back out it to keep the cop's of me and keep my shorts Clean!! The parts in the motor are as follows. Mikuni 42mm Flat Slide Carb, Big valves and ported Heads, Crane Roller rockers (tip's and fulcrum), adjustable pushrods, Adrews Cams, and Ross Pistons built to Hemi Designs specs. Due too the amazing amount of power this thing puts down I had to put a extra clutch plate and a heavier clutch spring in it. It would actually power through the clutch and spin with it fully engaged. I know my asking price seems kind of high for a bike that is 15 years old, but beleive me it is worth it. I know you can buy a brand new bike for the price I want , but you can't buy a new bike and put all of the aftermarket custom stuff on it for any where near the same price and have it look this good run this hard and whoop just about anybody out there on a Big Twin. I have put in 8 shows and took 6 firsts and 2 second places. One of my biggest wins was when I put it in the Boise Roadster Show and took 1st in my class. This show is the biggest one here where I am located, and is one of the stops on the show car circuit. I will ship this item But you must make all the arangements for packing crating and shipment!!! No exceptions Local Pickup is Prefered!!!! Please E-mail me for more pic's or more info.
