around 55 to 61 horsepower.The 1977 Sportster 1000 lineup is highly sought after by collectors and classic bike enthusiasts. The front end got disconnected when hit

by a car coming out of a parking space. Engine not Damaged. The seat is missing. Has long range original gas tank as well as a normal gas tank.

Its in gear so Testing compression requires getting it in neutral first.

I have no objection if a Buyer can get it into neutral. As a longtime rider I am truly curious about the compression. I found an example of this bike that listed for $32,000 in perfect condition so this would be a great restoration project. Listed for $5400.
